Approval Studio for Asana · last updated 25 September 2026
What this is
Approval Studio for Asana is an optional companion to Approval Studio. It sends files attached to tasks in the Asana projects you link to your Approval Studio account, and posts review outcomes back to those tasks. You need an account with both services, and an Approval Studio plan that includes API access, to use it.
Your side
- Connect only accounts you are entitled to connect, and only attach files to linked projects that you have the right to upload.
- Keep your connection link private. Managing a connection requires signing in with the Approval Studio account that owns it.
- Don't try to disrupt the service or reach other customers' data.
Our side
- In Asana we read only the projects you link, and on their tasks we only add comments and mark tasks complete or incomplete.
- We do not keep copies of your files.
- We handle your data as described in the privacy notice.
Availability
The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uptime or of delivery within any particular time. It depends on Asana and Approval Studio, and an outage or change at either can interrupt it. It is a convenience for getting files into Approval Studio and outcomes back into Asana. It is not a backup, an archive, or the system of record for your artwork.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including missed or delayed file delivery or status updates. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending it
Disconnect at any time from your connection page, or revoke access in Asana under My settings → Apps. We may suspend a connection that is being used abusively or that puts the service at risk.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above shows when. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
